Moody (september 2010)

Moody

Moody is the result of three ideas: 1/ Doing the first serious 4k on CPC, 2/ Taking a break between two big demos, 3/ Releasing something for the MAIN #5 party. Then, for the third time, Tom&Jerry, Beb and Hicks came back with, this time, a 4k dithered raycasting. Enjoy!

About

Vanity is a french Amstrad CPC demogroup created in 2007 by his two main members, Hicks & Beb. Bored by steril technical demos without design we decided to assemble our strenghts to propose a great flow of technical and artistic stuffs. Then we ask to Tom&Jerry from GPA, as a guest member, to rythm the flow with nice soundtracks.

From Scratch (august 2009)

From Scratch

After a big work, here is From Scratch, our second demo which smells the great sweat. This time it's a six minutes long multipart with a lot of innovative effects and transitions. We try to create the most homogeneous mix of artistic and technical work, in synchronization with the soundtrack (due to the hardcore tricks of the demo, this one run on CRTC 1 only).

Boules et Bits (september 2006)

Record broken !

Inspirated by the Atari Sprite Record (see the ATARI section of http://leonard.oxg.free.fr for more informations), CPC coders have launch at the end of 2004 their own contest with the same kind of rules. Ramlaid/Arkos had a first attempt with 20 balls, then Megachur/Paradox beat the record with 26 balls... Some months later we come with Boules et Bits and 42 balls !
